Chengdu Panda Base
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals. It is located in Chengdu, and it was founded in 1988. It started with 5 giant pandas that were rescued from the wild. By 2009, it had 125 panda births.
The giant pandas are not only a national treasure but are also appreciated by people from all around the world, and it stated goal is to "The world-class research facility, conservation education center, and international educational institution ."
