Day 01
You are to meet our English-speaking representative on the first floor of your hotel, where the reception area is. Your name will be written on a logo and you need to be extremely careful not to miss this person. Be ready by 8:00am.
The symbol of communist changes and everything that takes us back to Mao’s times is China’s famous Tian’anmen Square. Several statues, monuments and other memorial symbols can be found here representing the modern period of the country’s history.
You will be totally amazed by the fact how the legendary Forbidden City managed to stay preserved and untouched by the time. This ancient place is something every tourist has to see visiting Beijing. Walk and enjoy the views here, we will have a two-hour stop at this place. One of the most world-recognized and beautiful symbols of this country is silk. It has always been not only a traditional material of the noble Chinese, but also something sacred and greatly preserved by hundreds of craftsmen around China.
Pay your thorough attention to everything you can find at the Temple of Heaven. This ritual place is a true masterpiece and a symbol the people of China can be proud of. Though the imperial epoch is over today, people still love this place and enjoy its beauty in everything they find here. It will be our next one-hour stop.
After a traditional 40-minute meal the coach will be headed to another great sight within the capital area – the Summer Palace. This place is loved by the locals and tourists primarily because it is probably the most breathtakingly beautiful garden museum of the state. We will spend here a little less than 1.5 hour followed by a traditional tea ceremony and our way back to your accommodations.
Day 02
Can you imagine a tour in China that wouldn’t include the greatest attraction ever? Of course, we are talking about the Great Wall. This program includes the Juyongguan section, where you will hike for a couple of hours taking pictures and experiencing this world wonder of our times. You will be totally amazed by our lunch at the jade restaurant. Everything here tells us a 20-century-old story of this traditional Chinese art.
As far as you remember, Beijing was the host city of the Olympics-2008, so it would be rather unfair not to visit some places devoted to that terrific event. The former Olympic stadiums and other objects are also on our list being the final destination of this 2-day tour.
